About Bill Stifler
Bill Stifler is Associate Professor of English at Chattanooga State Community College, where he teaches mythology and composition. Bill has been full time with Chattanooga State since 1992. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Bill provides technology support for the Humanities and Fine Arts Division, including the division professional development site and the Humanities Writers@Work project. Bill is also Chattanooga State coordinator and webmaster for the Meacham Writer’s Workshop, a biannual writers’ workshop sponsored by the University of Tennessee.
Raised in York County, PA, near the Susquehanna River, Bill came to Chattanooga in 1972 and has lived in the Chattanooga area ever since. For more information, visit his bio page.
