The image is in dark stone.  Cuchulain is strapped to a stone pillar by his girdle around his waist.  His right foot rests on a flat area on the pillar.  His left leg is bent behind the right.  He is naked except for a loin cloth around his waist and a crown on his head.  His upper body drapes down from the girdle, his left arm dangling.  His right arm is pinned by the girdle. 

Sitting on the rock above Cuchulain is a crow, wings opened as though to fly away.
