The left side of the image features a huge wave, the ocean curling high up into the sky. Caught in the curve of the wave, almost on its side, is a large sailing boat with a single mast, the sail unfurled.  To the right of the ship, the sea rises in another large swell.

A clear patch of sky appears to the right of the crest of the huge wave. To the right are large cumulus clouds.

The picture is primarily in blues and grays with some lighter browns and greens in the sea swell.
