In the left foreground, Enkidu, dressed in a leopard hide, sits on a rock clutching the bole of a small tree beside him.  He is looking up at the "temptress."

On the right, a woman (the temptress) stands leaning against a tree, supporting herself on her left arm. She is looking down at Enkidu, her right arm extended toward him, hand open.  She is wearing a long flowing dress fastened at her left shoulder, leaving the right shoulder and edge of her breast bare.  She is barefoot.

The scene depicts the prostitute sent to tame the savage beast, Enkidu.
