In the foreground is the statue of Poseidon.  He stands with his right arm raised as though holding something in his hand, his left hand holding his cload at his hip.  His chest is bare.  The cloak rises behind him to lay across his left shoulder.  The figure has medium length curly hair and a curly beard.  The nose appears to have been broken off the statue.  His lower body is draped in his cloak.  His feet are bare.  The statue is mounted on a stone pedestal.

Behind the statue, tourists cluster around other smaller stone sculptures.
